Net fund raising proceeds from Team Superschools are apportioned 60% to the schools, 40% to Team Superschools. The various expenses which we incur in promoting each event: travel, hotel, printing and photographic costs, are substantial. We aim to cover these significant elements through the expenses levy of £1 per participating pupil, deducted from gross fund raising returns. We have found this to be a fair and mutually acceptable formula for rewarding schools whilst ensuring the future of Team Superschools and funding the Award Scheme. For example, a typical school, raising £2939.64 from 234 children, would benefit as follows:
